Abstract

In this research is evaluated the contrast sensitivity function in babies whose mothers had Zika virus in pregnancy. This study will be conducted in approximately 60 children with age between 3 and 18 months, half of these children will be part of the control group. The contrast sensitivity function will be tested by the Psykinematix psychophysics Program (KyberVision v.1.4.3). It is expected to find changes in the curve that describes the contrast sensitivity in babies exposed to Zika virus in pregnancy. It is worth noting that so far this type of analysis is not reported in the literature. (AU)
