Abstract

The research project proposed at the level of scientific initiation will be developed by the Research Group on Development of Sustainable Materials from Residual Loads, from the University Center of Antonio Eufrásio de Toledo of Presidente Prudente. The development of the natural rubber composite is expected to be developed, which will be used as polymer matrix, together with the fraction corresponding to the so-called coal present in the ash of the sugarcane bagasse, which in turn will act as a fibrous load at Be inserted in the polymer matrix, aiming at obtaining a new material with satisfactory mechanical, thermal and morphological properties so that it can be directed to industrial and technological applications. With the development of this new material it will be possible to contribute in a significant way in the reduction of the impacts caused to the environment by the inadequate disposal of this residue, which is a serious problem of the sugar and alcohol sector.
