Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the results of public policies focused on rural areas in the municipality of São João do Pau d'Alho, located in the Microregion of Dracena and in the Geographic Mesoregion of Presidente Prudente, with emphasis on the Sustainable Rural Development Project - Microbasins II Access the Market and the Program for the Acquisition of Food (PAA). A bibliographic survey will be carried out on the following topics: public policies; family farming; The historical process of formation of the municipality. Field investigations will also be carried out for the collection of data and information on the progress of the programs. (AU)
