Abstract

The present study aims to identify the intersectoral practices of infant development (DI) monitoring in health, education and social assistance, based on a model of family-centered capacity building, adopted in Portugal and linked to the project by Della Barba, PCS "DI monitoring in the light of the family-centered capacity building model", which seeks to propose and analyze a Child Development Monitoring System (SMDI). The present study was carried out in the São Carlos region of the São Paulo Program for the First Childhood (SPPI). The stages of the subproject are: 1. Identify and select intersectoral and integral indicators of monitoring and attention to the ID, 2. Outline the profile of six municipalities that compose this region of the PSPPI in relation to the potential of its teams to act within the principles of intersectoriality For the monitoring of DI; 3. Identify the municipalities that bring together elements to act in intersectoriality and that approach the family-centered capacity building model; 4. Elaborate didactic material directed to participating municipalities and guidelines that contemplate the requirements for the development of intersectoral actions and factors that facilitate Child Development. It is hoped to aid the process of identifying the potentialities and fragilities of the municipalities participating in the study, and to collaborate with the group in the selection of the target municipality of the intervention.
