Abstract

In this scientific initiation work, we will develop a study on models of planning of power distribution networks of medium and low voltage and demand response programs. The aim is to conduct a survey of the possible effects of the response programs to the demand in the planning of the electricity distribution networks. In the end, we intend to propose a theoretical way, a model to assess the effects of these demand-response programs in the planning of medium and low voltage distribution networks. In planning, we intend to study and evaluate the action planning of distribution networks, mathematical models and solution techniques. The studies on the demand response programs will be based on programs based on tariffs, especially peak hours of the load shifts programs for off-peak hours. Furthermore, to evaluate the effects of demand response programs on the distribution network, a case study using an existing model in the literature will be made. (AU)
