Abstract

The project seeks to outline an overview of systematic reviews that evaluate the effectiveness and safety of the use of psychotherapies for the treatment of eating disorders. For this, a sensitive search will be carried out in six databases (Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, MEDLINE, LILACS, Embase, PsycINFO and CINAHL) and the systematic reviews that embrace the proposed study topic will be selected. The selected articles will be evaluated, using specific tools, to then give an overview of what information the literature has on the subject up to the present moment and to define the quality of the available evidence.
