Abstract Throughout history, both theoretical and experimental researches have shown that the most diverse psychopathologies are caused by internal and external factors to the person. The most investigated internal factors are the genetic and neurological, while the external factors are socioeconomic conditions, perinatal factors, traumas in childhood, among others. Psychoanalysis and, more specifically Winnicott, has emphasized the emotional factors that constitute the psychic organizations, this author affirms "the genesis of psychoses is in the early environmental failure." Such a statement could be verified by observing the Mother-Baby Interaction that has already proved effective in predicting some aspects of cognitive and emotional development. In this research, empirical indicators of socioemotional development in the first year of life will be established and can be used to point out the risk and a prophylactic attitude regarding the most serious psychopathologies. We will start from Winnicott's hypothesis regarding the genesis of psychoses by associating it with other developmentalist conceptions within psychoanalysis itself and in neurodevelopment and experimental psychology. This proposal leads to a theoretical study of several understandings of the development of the baby in his first year of life. (AU) | |
