Abstract

We aim to make a research through BEPE for our Master's Degree Project, '"Hidden connections in the Paulista house: the State Housing Bank for the People - CECAP - and its relations with the USA through the International Basic Economy Corporation - IBEC", which aims to analyze the relations between Brazil and the United States in the field of social housing during the 1970s, through these two companies. In order to do so, it is necessary to make an investigation in archives and libraries in the United States, so we can obtain specialized documents and bibliography. It is expected that, with this study and research, we would be able to analyze by a historical perspective and understand better these relationships, the interests and policies involved in these agreements and the architectural and technical characteristics and debates about social housing and the construction that were used by IBEC and the National Bureau of Standards.
