Abstract The experiment will be conducted aiming to evaluate the effects of the inclusion of mananoligosaccharide (MOS), beta-glucan, fructooligosaccharide (FOS) and galactooligosaccharide (GOS) in the diets of nursery piglets, with 21-d old in average, on the cecum microbiology, goblet cell counts of small intestine segments and relative weight of organs (stomach, liver, intestines and spleen). For the conduction of the experiment (14 days of duration) it will be used 40 weanling piglets, distributed in a randomized complete block design with 5 treatments, which will be constituted: T1 = basal diet with addition of antibiotic growth promoter (halquinol); T2 = basal diet with addition of MOS (1.5kg/t) and beta-glucan (1.5kg/t); T3 = basal diet with addition of MOS and beta-glucan (1.5kg/t) + GOS and FOS (1.5 kg/t) (1:9); T4 = basal diet with addition of MOS and beta-glucan (1.5kg/t) + GOS and FOS (1,5 kg/t) (3:7); T5 = basal diet with addition of MOS and beta-glucan mixtures (1.5kg/t) + GOS and FOS (1.5kg/t) (5:5), with eight replicates and each animal will represent an experimental unit.
