Abstract

The objective of this study was to evaluate sweet potato genotypes with agronomic ability and culinary use in two different growing sites. A trial will be implemented in the experimental area of the Federal University of São Carlos Lagoa do Sino campus and another one in a private property in the State of São Paulo, both in a randomized block design with four replications. Each plot will consist of 10 plants in the spacing of 0.3 x 0.8 m. The evaluated characteristics will be productivity (ton ha-1), roots as to the format, quality, selection for greater post-harvest conservation of roots, branch production, resistance to pests and diseases, and bromatological quality of vegetables. The data obtained will be weighted by means of analysis of variance within each experiment individually, also a joint analysis will be carried out involving the two experiments using the statistical software SAS. Finally, the averages will be grouped by the Scott Knot method at 5% probability. (AU)
