Abstract

With the increasing use of air transportation, air traffic management has become increasingly complex. According to the literature of the area, the management approaches have not evolved along with this growth. One of the management bottlenecks occurs in the planning for efficient use of runways for landing and take-off. This project will investigate alternatives capable of optimizing this planning. Besides, the project intends to determine uncertainties, like flight delay, in the initial model. As a result, this project aims to minimize the advance and the delay of the aircraft. Thus, the proposal of this project is to analyse and deal with the problems of air traffic management, optimizing the use of the lane with uncertainties. In order to find efficient solutions, optimization techniques will be used.
