Abstract

The purpose and objective of scientific journalism, this project main object, have varied definitions in Brazil, according to the several analysis currents and practices. As of a systematic review over academic publications about the theme, this research project purpose is to assembly the characteristics pointed by researchers, thus it could collaborate to consolidate the definition of scientific journalism. This theoretical work will prepare the base for the realization of a scientific journalism course from CEPID NeuroMat's perspective, meeting FAPESP's expectations of enhancing spaces of science communicators formation.
