Abstract

The continuous and growing demand for high-performance electronic devices has aroused interest in the study and development of new materials. The production of nanoferrites enables applications of these materials with differentiated properties, as well as new studies aimed at retaining crystalline and pure nanoparticles. It has been shown in the literature that ferrites can be obtained adopting different methods using thermal treatments. Currently, magnetic and magnetoelectric materials are being prepared by our group using various synthesis methods. One of them is "modified coprecipitation" and microwave assisted hydrothermalization. The results of the "modified coprecipitation", which is the research topic of a doctoral thesis developed in our group, are recent and extremely satisfactory. The aim of this research project is to obtain ferrite powders (CoFe2O4 and ZnFe2O4), pure and doped by the "modified coprecipitation" method, with and without microwave assisted hydrothermalization. In order to perform this study, ferrites of the CoFe2O4 and ZnFe2O4 systems will be synthesized initially. After the synthesis control, we will study the doping of the CoFe2O4 sample with Zn (ZnxCo1-xFe2O4) in different proportions (x = 0.25, 0.5 and 0.75). For the materials characterization, we will use various techniques such as: DTA/ TG, XRD, BET, SEM, TEM and magnetic characterization. (AU)
