Abstract

Primary Adrenal Macronodular Hyperplasia is a rare cause of ACTH-independent Cushing's Disease and has recently been found not to be entirely independent of ACTH secretion. Several groups have studied the molecular mechanisms involved in this disease, with the discovery of the ARMC5 gene mutation being the most recent finding. (AU)
