Abstract The project consists of studying the theory of Higgs bundles and applications. We hope that at the end of the project the student will acquire a formation in symplectic, complex and algebraic geometry, since the proposed program is in the intersection of such areas. It is also expected that the student acquires familiarity with recent applications of the theory of Higgs bundle to the mirror symmetry program. (AU) | |
