Abstract

The main objective of this project is to determine the Borelian complexity of certain classical properties of Banach spaces, as well as of certain isomorphism classes of Banach spaces non isomorphic to the Hilbert space. It will be done during the doctoral studies of the candidate, who is applying in the selection process for the Postgraduate Program at the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics of the University of Sao Paulo (IME-USP). The supervisor will be professor Valentin Ferenczi, who has recognized background in the area and he will be responsible for directing the research. This research will be framed in line 1 "Combinatorial structures and principles" of the thematic project FAPESP 2016/25574-8 "Geometry of Banach spaces", of which professor Valentin Ferenczi is responsible researcher.
