Abstract

Fetal Programming (FP) can affect the development of animals throughout their life. This nutritional stimulus has been studied in beef cattle and can cause differences that affect beef cattle production systems. Traits such as performance, body morphology, deposition of muscular and adipose tissue are of great importance for the selection of animals for both genetic improvement and for animals that will be destined for slaughter.
