Abstract

Repeated genomic regions, also called copy number variation (CNV), are important targets of the genome, as they may be associated with phenotypes of interest. Molecular quantification of CNV can validate the results of analyzes of associations with phenotypes. The activity of the selected student will be to quantify regions associated with the phenotypes related to the subject by qPCR. This stage of the project is a great opportunity to engage new students in research, and develop scientific skills alongside a thematic project. (AU)
