Abstract

It is aimed to investigate the superficial induced characteristics on titanium surface by ion beam implantation and anodic oxidation, i.e. two surface modification technologies, by focusing on variations in chemical composition, structure, morphology and resistance to corrosion in a simulated physiological solution through the present project. It has been developed in collaboration with a research group from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, where ion implantation and characterization of surfaces modified by this method is to be carried out.
