Abstract

This paper aims to broaden the concept of the dream through a dialogue between cultural psychology and anthropological Amerindian perspectivism, mediated by a theoretical-methodological systemization of dialogical multiplication (Guimarães). By bringing together different conceptions of dream that are possible within distinct cultural contexts, we seek to widen its potentialities. The broadening of the concept of the dream will allow for a reflection on the notion of "Self" in the tradition of the western human sciences, as well as construct of reality, by coming into contact with the Amerindian perspective of the notion of personhood and the construct of reality. This work seeks to contribute to a body of knowledge that will allow for new modes of existence and (creative) action in the world through a discussion concerning the oneiric phenomenon. (AU)
