Abstract

The present project, based on the Bakhtin Circle's philosophy of language, proposes the analysis of the constitution of the subject minion (massive labor) in relation of alterity with the subject Gru (the protagoniste boss, favorite evil), present in animation movies. The general objective is to reflect on the construction of this relationship, which includes the production, circulation and social reception of the work. The specific objective is to understand the social voice(s) incarnated by the subjects minions and Gru, taken in the working relationship that constitutes them as servants and boss. For this, the study has as corpus the franchise of film utterances Despicable Me (2010, 2013, 2015 and 2017). The research method, dialectic-dialogical, performed by comparison, predicts other utterance productions related to the franchise, in order to corroborate with the reflection about the labor relations and the transformation of the work of entertainment into a product of mass consumption. This is a qualitative research, of a bibliographic nature, to be developed through interconnected stages of description, analysis and interpretation. The relevance of the study is to reflect on the relation between production, circulation and reception of contemporary aesthetic-mediatic utterances related to life. In this case, as the minions became a fever of sale and extrapolated the screens of the movies, invading the society, in several spheres, as a sadomasochistic yellow wave. Similarly, the research is relevant for collaborating with the thinking about the pertinence of the bakhtinian approach as a theoretical-analytical foundation of syncretic utterances. (AU)
