Abstract

Studies on the direct photocatalyzed C-H arylation of quinolines, pyridines and styrenes with aryldiazonium and diaryliodonium salts will be performed using visible light. Different photocatalysts or the use of EDA complexes will also be explored in batch and flow conditions. To the best of our knowledge, photoarylation of these substrates has not been well-explored yet in the absence of a photocatalyst (by electron-donor-acceptor complex - EDA) neither in batch nor under continuous flow conditions, making this research proposal very attractive and a potential contribution to the literature.
