Abstract

The production of eggs in Brazil has been increasing and has been commercialized worldwide, a fact that has led to an increase in the density of animals in the facilities, leading to a decrease in the ambience and animal welfare, mainly due to the absence of expression of the species' natural behavior . The objective of this study will be to analyze systems for laying hens and verify the interrelationships between productive performance and animal welfare. The study will be conducted in two laying farms located in the Poultry sector in University of Agrarian and Technological Sciences of Dracena - FCAT. Environmental variables the incidence of injury and egg quality which will be differentiated by conventional with enrichment, conventional without enrichment and colonial. Cycles of 28 days will be realized and repeated these cycles by season of the year four times. The experimental design will be fully randomized. The data will be tested to verify its normality and later will be carried out suitable tests, using software R. It is expected to know which system is the most beneficial for the performance and welfare for laying hens, thus bringing improvements in productivity and creating them.
