Abstract

The main goals of analytical chemistry are focused on the development and optimization of new tools and methodologies aimed at improving the quality of information of current demands. The development of more sustainable and cleaner methods for environmental liability is increasingly being studied. The study and optimization of new chemical analysis procedures aim at minimizing these impacts by reducing the volume and toxicity of the reagents used and reducing waste generated and energy consumption. Thus, the main objective of this work will be the development of different methods of preparation of samples using water, acid solutions and organic solvents through the microwave assisted extraction (MAE) and the extraction by polarity for species of inorganic arsenic (i-As) in tilapia tissues (fillet and gills) from samples from acute toxicity tests. As determinations will be performed by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). (AU)
