Abstract

The objective of this research project is to study the nonlinear dynamic behavior of an offshore oil platform, subject to a periodic excitation representing the action of ocean waves. As the main expected result, we intend to verify the existence of periodic, multi-periodic, quasi-periodic and chaotic solutions. (AU)
