Abstract

This research project titled "Post-Graduation in Education of FCT / UNESP: qualitative analysis of history and academic production" has the main objective to investigate the history and academic production of the postgraduate program in education of the Faculty of Sciences and Technology, Campus of Presidente Prudente (PPGE / FCT / UNESP), prioritizing the critical analysis of the productions about the teacher training of the initial years of elementary education. The specific objectives are: I) to reflect on the role of the public university in the Brazilian educational context; II) to understand the role of postgraduate programs in Education in Brazil; III) to rescue and understand the history of PPGE / FCT / UNESP and IV) to identify and systematize the themes of the academic production of PPGE / FCT / UNESP. Considering the objectives of this study we will develop the qualitative research approach, and will use documentary analysis to understand the historical context of the program. And through the bibliographical research we will make the critical analysis of the academic production defended in the PPGE / FCT / UNESP in the period from 2000 to 2017. (AU)
