Abstract

The purpose of this Scientific Initiation intends to document and analyze the concepts which surround the educational field around literature teaching, literary reading and reading in the articles present in the academic magazines Revista Brasileira de Literatura Comparada and Revista Gragoatá, both qualis A1, in the period of 2013 to 2016. It is the general objective of this research to understand how this field moves and how these concepts are built originating from the dominant speech (orthodox). The specific objectives are: a. To catalog and organize the articles to be analyzed; b. To comprehend the central ideas of each article; c. To establish categories to access, in a more detailed way, in the article, the tendencies about literature teaching, literary reading and reading; d. To relate the articles' titles, keywords of the abstracts and bibliographic references to help the understanding of these tendencies about literature teaching, literary reading and reading. It is a qualitative research, with documental analysis. As results, it is excpected to have a panoramic view about these concepts in the magazines and contribute to the discussion about literature teaching, literary reading and reading in the fields of Education and Language and Literature.
