Abstract

Changes in the sources of metabolizable protein available to the animal may affect animal metabolism in order to alter animal performance. The experiment will be conducted in an area belonging to the Animal Science Department of FCAV/UNESP, Campus of Jaboticabal, with the objective of evaluating the effect of supplementation or not with PNDR in freshly weaned animals, in the dry and water period, on the performance, loin eye area and fat thickness.
