Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze the expression profile of the biological markers MMP-9, TIMP-1, RECK in tissue samples from biopsies of patients with suspected prostate cancer (PC), to compare the expression profile among patients that the biopsy was positive and negative for this neoplasia and to analyze the expression of these markers in urine samples from these same patients, as well as to analyze these markers as possible prognostic factors for disease progression.
