Abstract

Understanding that the first act of consciousness is to signify and that to understand man as a signifying being implies to inscribe it as a being of language, the present postdoctoral research inserts the problem of language as a fundamental question of Phenomenology. The aim is to investigate the status of language in the Phenomenology of Jean-Paul Sartre from the onto-phenomenological, ethical and political contribution characteristic of Sartre's thought. (AU)
