Abstract

The research project entitled " Effects of high-flow nasal oxygen therapy during the treatment of calves with neonatal hypoxia", which aims to propose a treatment protocol for asphyxiated calves.Neonatal calves will be maintained with ventilatory support using a Open CPAP System - O_Two Medical Technologies. For the evaluation the effects of the oxygenotherapy the hemogasometry of arterial and venous blood and the measurement of lactate plasma levels will be performed.
