Abstract Over past years a new approach to compute S-matrix elements for N=4 D=4 Super Yang-Mills theory (SYM) has been developed. This framework makes use of the so-called spinor helicity formalism to write in a compact and elegant way several formulae for N=4 D=4 SYM scattering amplitudes. Color-kinematics duality, BCFW recursion relations, Kleiss-Kuijf relations among others are properties that scattering amplitudes have been shown to satisfy in this novel formalism. Since N=4 D=4 SYM can be obtained from N=1 D=10 SYM via dimensional reduction, one would expect to be able to find this kind of simplifications in D=10 dimensions as well. This D=10 spinor helicity formalism might allow us to study N=1 D=10 SYM scattering amplitudes in a more efficient way as compared to the current methods via string theory. BFCW-type relations, supertwistor structures, dualities among other aspects are expected to be found using this new framework. (AU) | |
