Abstract

Rich galaxy clusters are the last and largest collapsed structures in the Universe. These structures grow by successive mergers according to the hierarchical scenario as a consequence of matter being dominated by a non-collisional cold component. In the present IC project, we intend to analyze the physical properties of clusters in collision through the use of N-body simulations. Comparing the results obtained from the simulations with available X-ray observations, it will be possible to describe the dynamical history of these objects.
