Abstract

Sustainability has been the subject of increasing attention and action by managers and organizations around the world. However, it is noteworthy that the studies on business sustainability published in the scientific literature have been based on very variable assumptions and concepts. To contribute to the formation of a more homogeneous theoretical basis on sustainability, the main objective of this research is to systematize principles and elements of corporate sustainability from a systematic review of scientific theory. The research will have a qualitative approach and will use for its execution bibliographical data coming from the bases Scopus and Web of Science (WOS). The content analysis method will be used to identify elements and group them in principles. This project is part of the larger project titled " Sistema de gestão integrado como elemento de desenvolvimento da sustentabilidade em empresas industriais: uma contribuição ibero-americana " funded by FAPESP (2017 / 18304-7) and coordinated by the supervisor of this CI proposal. With the development of this research the following results are expected: To contribute to the systematization of the principles of corporate sustainability; Submit at least one scientific paper to a journal with Qualis equal to or greater than B2 in Engineering III; Submit a scientific paper for national and / or international expression congress in the area of Production Engineering; and Elaborate digital instructional material on the research and its results to be made available to researchers and managers interested in the subject of business sustainability.
