Abstract This research intends to investigate the topic of remarriage, particularly about the relationship between stepmothers and the children from the first marriage of the husband, trying to comprehend if there is connection between this new conjugality and the formation of the bond stepmother-stepchild. The sample will be designed and compose by the method "bola de neve", intending to interview 4 adults, both gender, all children from the first marriage, age between 18 e 30 years old, which has already been involved with stepmother for at least 1 year and reside with her. The data will be collected through semi-directional interviews, approaching topics such as the conjugality from the biological parents, aspects of the divorce, the new conjugality and peculiarities about the relationship between stepchildren and stepmothers. The results will be analyzed from the material collected throughout the interviews, using the method of discourse analysis to investigate the phenomenon of remarriage and its implications, based on the psychoanalytic aspect. | |
