Abstract

This proposal of investigation, bounded to the triennial project, entitled Discursive tradition in teaching: from the conceptual delimitation to its part in the hidden aspects of academic literacy, and inserted in the Research Group Studies about language (GPEL/CNPq process 400183/2009-9), coordinated by Dr. Lourenço Chacon, concentrates on an theorist-analytical approach, whose central objective is to describe and analyze the operation of the joining mechanisms, applied in the argumentative Discursive Tradition (DT), considered, while tradition, as material and product of the language. From a specific approach, in the context of acquisition and developing of DTs in the written mode of enunciation, it is expected to apprehend not only linguistic correlatives, of syntactic-semantic nature, associated to joining mechanisms, but also their discursive relations, with regards to the DT in which they are seen and they help building. The results of this proposal will contemplate, therefore, aspects concerning the linguistic analysis of several joining forms, in context of writing acquisition and development, as well as the acquisition and development of a DT and, still, aspects that are also relevant, concerning of the relation between language and discourse.
