Abstract The safety of the patient has been consolidated as a central topic of debate in the health care process, especially regarding the peculiarities in the health care of the child. In pediatric and neonatal intensive care units, accidents related to medication error have been increasing significantly, the World Health Organization launched in 2017 the Third Global Patient Safety Challenge, with the theme "Medication without harm". covered in the National Patient Safety Program reference document. The Digital Educational Technologies are used to assist the teaching-learning process of the nurse professional, an example is the animated infographic, in which it is considered as a communication resource that uses visual elements allied to verbal, reduced and objective texts, for information. Objective: To develop an animated infographic as a didactic resource for the teaching of safe medication in children's health. Methodology: It is a research about elaboration of educational product to increase the teaching-learning process, in which they consist of being exploratory, non-experimental, methodological and with quantitative approach that will aim to create an animated infographic about medication child's health. The development of this digital educational technology, followed the four stages for the development of animations used as didactic material: planning, production, implementation and evaluation. According to the authors, these steps are subdivided and generated subprocesses that compose more specific steps for the development of didactic material. The data obtained in the surveys and production of content will be quantitatively analyzed by descriptive statistics. Expected results: The study is expected to provide nursing students with an educational tool to support medication administration in a safe manner in the care of the child. | |
