Abstract

This International Research Intership project aims to improve the doctoral research begun in 2017, whose objective is to understand how, and by what rationalities, a specific group of street vendors in Belo Horizonte - the toreros - engage in their daily activities, among the conflicts of public spaces. Given the multi-scale analysis methodology, the objective of the intership is to establish a dialogue with the French bibliography on the meanings of the street vending (besides the modes of social control) in the neoliberal context, in order to comprehend the rationalities and modes of engagement in their activities in the various fields of life.
