Abstract

Ehrlich's tumor, a transplantable neoplasm of species-specific malignant epithelial origin, will be applied as an experimental model in order to evaluate the melatonin effects in Balb/c mice. The results will be evaluated through a new application therapy perspective, inferred from the treatment of the ascitic Ehrlich's tumor, as well as the study of the cellularity of lymphoid organs, and the evaluation of the nitric oxide produced by the macrophages of the tumor-bearing animals.
