Abstract

The main goal of this research project is to investigate the properties of the medium formed in PbPb collisions at nucleon-nucleon center-of-mass energy of 5.02 TeV with the recent data collected by the CMS experiment in November/December of 2018. The focus will be on the measurements of the directed and elliptic flow coefficients using D0 and anti-D0 mesons in order to probe the strong electric and magnetic fields created in this medium. The proponent will also continue to perform his work to the CMS collaboration, dedicated mainly to developing/testing charged particles reconstruction methods, crucial for most of the CMS heavy-ions analyses.
