Abstract

It is a project that aims to evaluate the in vitro anticancer action of the essential oil PA_MA05 isolated from the plant species Eugenia punicifolia (Kunth) DC. Among the specific objectives to be achieved with this project, the following stand out: establishing a panel of tumoral strains of different tissues (glioma, melanoma, breast, lung, kidney, prostate, ovary, cervix, colon); evaluate the cytotoxicity of PA_MA05 essential oil in the various cell lines and evaluate the ability of this compound to inhibit cell migration and replication.
