Abstract The objective of this study is to evaluate the bond strength and marginal adaptation of class I restorations (4mm deep) performed in single increment with conventional composites and high viscosity bulk-fill composites of same brand. A total of 48 third molars (n = 8) will be used, divided into 6 experimental groups according to composite (conventional Tetric N-Ceram, Tetric N-Ceram Bulk-fill - IVOCLAR VIVADENT, Filtek Z350 XT, Filtek One Bulk-fill - 3M ESPE, Conventional Aura, Aura Bulk-fill - SDI). After 48 hours, the samples will be submitted to Microtensile Bond Strength and Marginal Adaptation tests. An Electron Scanning Microscope will be used to evaluate the fracture pattern and obtain images for identification of marginal gaps. The marginal disadaptation will be quantified using ImageJ software. Comparative data among all composites will be submitted to one-way ANOVA statistical analysis and Tukey test. Comparative data between composites of same brand will be submitted to T-test parameter test. | |
