Abstract

Based on recent studies on editorial mediation (SALGADO, 2011), we will investigate the role of the scientist, the academic and the intellectual from a discursive perspective in the authorship regimes of scientific communication. We propose to analyze a set of materials that circulated under the rubrics scientific writing and academic writing collected in courses and events of scientific publishing, more specifically in the meetings of scientific editors promoted from 2014 to 2017 by the Brazilian Association of Scientific Editors (Abec). Considering that the systems of academic evaluations propel what Angermuller (2018) calls the academic star system, we will observe how the technical production of writing articles submitted to the publication and what is said about them condition the so-called scientific, academic and intellectual practices of actors who occupy positions of power in their respective discourses regimes, that is, actors marked by institutional powers that govern the norms of scientific communication.
