Abstract

This research proposal aims to investigate ways to redesign or graphical and functional reformulation of the Hypergeo electronic book of the Faculty of Arts, Architecture and Communication, which serves as a tool to support the teaching of Descriptive Geometry. For this, concepts of User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction, and User-Centered Design methodologies will be studied and applied, with a critical look at Jakob Nielsen's heuristics and the most current usability criteria. Through this research project, it is hoped to improve some of the existing didactic material to facilitate the learning of Descriptive Geometry as well as to provide guidelines for future web design interventions in electronic books.
