Abstract

This project is aimed to characterize the intestinal microbiota of Nile tilapia fed with probiotic AQUA-PHOTO® (composed by Bacillus subtilis and Lactobacilus plantarum) and vaccinated for S. agalactiae. For this was an experiment will be conducted at APTA/SAA - Pólo Centro Leste - Pirassununga UPD (Brazil). The work will be divided into two phases: 1°) in vitro bacteria inhibition test; 2°) infection challenge with S. agalactiae. The experimental design of phase two was completely randomized, corresponding to five treatments (group 1 - without probiotic and without vaccine; group 2 - adjuvant injected only, without probiotic and without vaccine; group 3 - with probiotic and without vaccine; group 4 - without probiotic and with vaccine; group 5 - with probiotic and with vaccine) and four replicates. After 63 days of feeding, were collections the intestine samples (fractions anterior), for metagenomic analysis of the intestinal microbiota to be held at the University of Malága-UMA, Spain, will be performed to verify the effects of the probiotic diet. The results from the second test will be submitted to Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and Tukey's test (p<0,05). (AU)
