Abstract

This scientific initiation aims to train a graduate student to perform evaluations of ruminal parameters and enteric methane emission from nellore bulls. As well as perform analysis in gas chromatography. The fellow will perform field collections, laboratory analyzes, data analysis andwill discuss the results with the research team. The treatments will be: T1 - Conventional concentrate with corn as energy source and cottonseed as protein source; treatment; T2 - Concentrate with 50% substitution of T1 protein source by DDGS; T3: Concentrate with 100% substitution of T1 protein source by DDGS. The experiment will be conducted in a completely randomized design with repeated measures over time, with three treatments with three replications. (AU)
