Abstract Molecular association of porphyrins/porphyrazines and triangular ruthenium acetate clusters has been studied in our laboratory since the last decades, pursuing the exploitation of supramolecular interactions in sensors and catalysis. Now, by incorporating the recent advances in nanotechnology, this proposal will be expanded to include nanomaterials, such as the plasmonic nanoparticles, carbon nanotubes and graphene derivatives. The new materials will be applied in energy conversion studies, catalysis and advanced sensors. (AU) | |
