Abstract

The main objective of this project is studying the differences and similarities of the day-to-day variability generation, formation, and evolution of the large and mesoscale ionospheric irregularities, during quiet and disturbed geomagnetic conditions. This study will be carried out using experiential data of the VTEC (Vertical Total Electron Content), ROT (Rate of VTEC), ROTI (standard deviation of ROT). Also, the student will develop a code to visualize the parameters ROT and ROTI. (AU)
