Abstract

Anxiety and depression disorders present high prevalence in population, are more common in women and frequently occur simultaneously, what represents a higher impairment to mental health. The analytical-behavioral therapy is a possible way to treat these disorders. Considering the importance of efficacy and efficiency in an analytical-behavioral evidence-based practice, the present study proposes the ellaboration and application of a manualised procedure to attend women between 30 and 50 years old with anxiety and depression, that might instrumentalise therapists to work with this public. This research will be performed in a multiple-based line delineation among participants, in the clinic-school of a state university of São Paulo, with three female participants with between 30 and 50 years old, with complaints of anxiety and depression in comorbidity, what must be confirmed by standardized instruments. The proposed procedure starts with psychological evaluations of each participant, to attend the clinical demands presented and teach specific behaviors, considering the area literature. Its focus will be of communication and functional analysis on the parental, conjugal and labor contexts. For the analysis of the therapeutic results, there will be used results of the application of standardized instruments (GAD-7, PHQ-9 and IHS-2), monitoring of the complaints reports (recorded in the sessions) and written reports of the homeworks given in each session, in a way that describes comparatively the variables of interest at the different moments of evaluation.
