Abstract

Magnetic nanoparticle systems have attracted increasing attention from the scientific community, both due to challenges related to understanding basic concepts and due to the large number of possible technological applications such as chemical reaction catalysis, Ferro fluid technology or even the area of biomedical applications, it brings several possibilities for the development of new therapeutic methods and disease diagnosis. The objective of this work plan is to synthesize samples of cobalt ferrite nanoparticles from the solvothermic method, using two types of heating (conventional and microwave), to analyze their structural, morphological and magnetic characteristics, aiming at their use in reaction catalysis chemicals, more specifically esterification reactions, which in turn have large importance today due to biofuel production.
